Google Adwords (PPC)
Google AdWords are the paid advertisements you would see above the organic search results on a Google search. This is Google’s main source of revenue. AdWords offers pay-per-click, that is, cost-per-click (CPC) advertising, cost-per-thousand-impressions or cost-per-mille (CPM) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for text, banner, and rich-media ads.
The AdWords program includes local, national, and international distribution. Google’s text advertisements are short, consisting of one headline of 25 characters and two additional text lines of 35 characters each. Being able to display your ads on Google and their entire advertising network increases the opportunity to reach potential customers.
Paying for Google AdWords may get you to the top of the first page but if you don’t have what consumers are looking for, they will just leave. Using search engine optimization and the appropriate keywords through blogging may allow you to gain access to the first page of Google through free organic search.
In many cases, we were able to rank our clients on the first page of Google using those tactics. Check out our pages on business blogging and search engine optimization to learn more about how we can help you rank high on search engines.
