Chris Alioto, co-owner of Alioto’s Garage with locations in San Francisco, Suisun City, and San Mateo, CA has been using geofencing with remarkable results for more than a year.
“So, we got into geofencing because we’ve never really advertised. We never really had to because we have been here forever. So, we were looking into options, even if it was just Google AdWords or something like that. And this was during COVID; I think it was towards the end of 2020. One day, I watched a video about geofencing and was immediately impressed with its capabilities. I like the fact that we are touching customers at that moment when they need a body shop.”
Alioto’s average repair ticket comes in at around $5,000, well above the national average. It’s not unheard of them doing $18,000-$20,000 repairs and a handful of them at prices ranging from $50,000-$60,000 on top-of-the-line luxury vehicles. With numbers like these, capturing just one or two high-end jobs every month can pay a lot of bills.
“In San Francisco, you will find a lot of Teslas, Porsches, BMWs, and other expensive cars, so if we can capture a few people who drive those vehicles, that’s definitely a major thing.”
Alioto appreciates the hands-on service he receives from Stratosphere Studio. “It is a great company to work with on several levels. They’re on the up and up with geofencing, giving us the information we need to show that we’re getting some real traction. We are not guessing; we know and that’s exceptional with any form of marketing or advertising.”
